A second hand kitchen was purchased on EBay. it included a sink, cooker, fridge, freezer as well as base & wall cupboards with worktops.

The kitchen is trial fitted before electric & plumbing services are laid in the framework behind the plasterboards.

Having decided where the units would fit, they were all removed, the electrics and plumbing installed and then the walls were plasterboarded.

Now the units are fixed in place including the oven.

The second hand worktops are being cut to fit our layout.

A fiitted fridge and freezer fit under the worktop to form a bar between the kitchen and club room.

The final addition for today was the electric water heater that will provide hot water in the kitchen, disabled toilet and hand wash basin in the entrance lobby.
This was another great second hand purchase from EBay!

The plasterboarding is nearly complete in the kitchen

The kitchen fitting is making good progress with the sink unit being fitted and the last pieces of worktop cut to fit.

The kitchen worktop is now permanently fitted

The water heater is now mounted & plumbing nearly complete.

First test of the drains! (Successful, though there was never any real doubt of that!)

Another major step forward - mains water coming out the kitchen tap for the first time.

The kitchen is beginning to look really good with the addition of wall tiles around the work surfaces and window sill.

All the tiling in the kitchen is now grouted & most of the electric sockets wired & fronts fitted

The cooker hood is fitted
